Trekking adventure in the desert of Morocco, Erg Chebbi in Merzouga

Day 1: Excursion – Dunes of Ikarian Bouieghd

After breakfast, meet with the camel team, load the equipment, and load the luggage, then we walk together to the small dunes of Ikarian (1h30 walk). You will walk in a landscape of golden dunes, ochre, red, and white dunes… The lake (depending on the rainfall), is located at the foot of a large dune that you will have to climb. Lunch is planned during the day. Setting up camp. Dinner and overnight in a bivouac in the Bouieghd basin.

Day 2: Trekking – Bouieghd – Tamrdanite

Tamrdanite

Breakfast. We then set off to climb some high dunes. A magnificent view of the entire region. You will arrive at the small oasis of Boughanim for a picnic. In the afternoon, you will continue your progression between increasingly imposing dunes, before reaching the top of the highest dune. The view is lost in the natural barrier separating Morocco from Algeria.

(5h30 / 6h walk). Dinner and night in a bivouac.

Day 3: Trekking – Tamrdanite

Lbayaa

Breakfast. We leave the dunes of Merzouga and enter another landscape: a stony black plateau mixed with stony black mixed with grains of golden sand. The environment is austere, with black walls and gold. You will arrive at the foot of the blue mountain of Lbayaa, whose sun at the end of the day magnificently brightens the environment (a 5-hour walk). Lunch is provided during the day. Dinner and night in a bivouac.

Day 4: Trekking – Lbayaa – Znigui

Breakfast. After crossing the beautiful blue stone mountain “Lbayaa”, you will join the beautiful dunes of Tnigui, crossing the bivouac. Hot showers are available.

(5-hour walk). Dinner and night in a bivouac.

Day 5: Marrakech – Transfer to the airport 

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Private transfer to the airport at Marrakech airport around 12:00 pm. Take-off is scheduled at 14:55. Flight to your home.
