5 days Trekking trip in M’hamid, Zagora, in Morocco

Day 1: MARRAKECH – OULED DRISS (M’HAMID)

Transfer from Marrakech to M’hamid, lunch on the road. Through the Great Atlas, Ouarzazate, and the beautiful road of the Draa Valley, you reach Zagora and Ouled Driss. Dinner and first night at the bivouac near M’hamid.

2nd day: Desert Trek: OULED DRISS – KRAYAAT JMAL

You first cross a huge desert plateau from Ouled Driss at the bottom of the Draa valley, at the edge of the Sahara. You then reach the dunes of Krayaat Jmal where you will camp. You admire the magnificent sunset before spending your first night in the desert.

Day 3: Desert Trek: KRAYAAT JMAL – ERG KHNATA

Your caravan continues its journey to the rhythm of the camels. You cross the hamada staked with tamarisk before emerging on the Ouad Naam, in the middle of the dunes. In the afternoon, you will continue your walk in the middle of the dunes until you reach Erg Khnata. You will be there in time to admire the blazing sunset. Second night in the desert.

Day 4: Desert trek: ERG KHNATA – OULED DRISS

You leave the Erg Khnata to continue your walk through the Hamada du Drâa, a vast expanse of stony desert (reg) dotted with volcanic rocks. Return in the late afternoon to Ouled Driss, rest, and shower at our camp.

Day 5: OULED DRISS – MARRAKECH (last day of desert trekking)

Attend the beautiful sunrise. Optional walk. Then, Transfer to Marrakech.
