Casablanca to Marrakech tour itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez

Private tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. We will visit the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of Udaya in Rabat. We will then travel to Meknes to visit the Medina Gate and the Royal Palace. Then we will visit Volubilis on a guided tour and continue to Fez, where we will stay overnight in a riad.

Day 2: Excursion to the Medina of Fez

Today we will take a guided tour of the Medina of Fez. We will visit the main attractions such as the Andalusian Mosque, the famous tannery, and the Medersa, and we will also visit the new part of the city. Overnight at a local hotel. You may like also a 4 days tour from Casablanca to Marrakech.

Day 3: Fez – Ifran – Midelt – Erfoud- Merzouga

On the third day of the Casablanca to Marrakech tour, we will travel to Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”. We will then visit Midelt and travel to Erfoud, famous for its fossils. We will further travel to the village of Merzouga, where we will ride on camels through the dunes of the Sahara Desert. We will arrive at our desert campsite, watch the sunset, and after dinner, listen to Berber drumming around the campfire. Overnight in tents in the desert.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra – Dades Canyons

Today we will watch the sunrise in the desert of Merzouga, followed by a camel ride back to the village. After breakfast, we will drive to Rissani. We will visit Tinghir and see the Todra Canyon, the highest and narrowest canyon in Morocco. After lunch, we will move to Dades Gorge, where we will see sand castles and rock formations called “monkey fingers”. Overnight in a local hotel in Dades Gorge (dinner included). Day 5: Dades Gorge – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today we will cross the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” and visit Qalaat Mugouna, the center of the Valley of the Roses. We will visit the Kasbahs of Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou. We will then cross the Tizi Ntika pass to Marrakech, where we will be transferred to our hotel. End of the 5-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech.
