Our plane for this 2 days tour from Marrakech is to transfer you from your accommodation driving to our purpose the Sahara desert. On this trip we have a lot to investigate; there are green oases, sand dunes in an ocean of sand, Kasbahs, camel rambling, and an overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp where you will be in the hug of Sahar where you and your private party can gaze up into the night sky and witness the endless array of stars. There is no light pollution to spoil your starlight gaze at your camp in the middle of the desert, and the sunset you witness when camel trekking is equally lavish.

Experience 2 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

DAY 1 – MARRAKECH – DADES – MERZOUGA

After picking you up from your Marrakech accommodation, we will drive you via the high Atlas Mountains where u can see the magic of green landscapes to Telouit, down to the KASBAH at Ait-Ben Hadou. This famous Kasbah built in the 11th century it is classified as a World Heritage site since 1987 which is several buildings that established side by side, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, Continuing to Ouarzazate known to be the door to the desert, a city that established in 1920, it is populated by Berbers who constructed many of the prominent kasbahs and building for which the area is known as the Kasbah of Taourirt diverted in the 17th century.

We will continue on our way passing by Draa Valley and Dades Valley before we reach the desert of Merzouga in the late afternoon. We take camels then we ride for 1h30min until we arrive at the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. Here we camp for the night, enjoying the starry sky’s breathtaking view.

OVERNIGHT STAY IN A BERBER CAMP

DAY 2: MERZOUGA – Marrakech

We will wake up early to attend the panoramic sunrise over the high dunes. On way coming back to Moroccan Paris, you will see the fascinating Rissani; SIJILMASSA once upon a time, the city of Alaouit SHORAFA, seeing also Moroccan architecture, Nqob, Tamnougalt, and then the city of Ouarzazate once again heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. Cross the High chains of Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizn’Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages nearby. We will arrive in Marrakech around 6.00 or 7.00 p.m. By that, we end our 2 days tour from Marrakech.
